Swami Kevalananda Saraswati
Swami Kevalyananda Saraswati was born in France. She graduated from the School of English at Paris University and later worked as both an English and French teacher in various private schools. She began practicing Satyananda yoga in 1982, and in 1993 completed her teacher training under the supervision of Swami Sivamurti Saraswati and was initiated in Poorna sannyasa by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati in 2005.
As an ashram resident since 2001, she has been involved in running many of the ashram departments as well as teaching yoga. She has attended a variety of Yogic Lifestyle and Sannyasin training courses over the last 20 years in Greece, including a number of Yogic studies courses and in-services.
Her interests lies in teaching hatha yoga, kriya yoga, yoga nidra of the Satyananda system, a variety of meditation techniques including Antar Mouna, as well as yoga and menopause, yoga for back pain and yoga for the elderly. She teaches in the Paiania ashram and the Satyananda Yoga meditation centers.
She is also a member of the Hellenic Union of Teachers trained in the Satyananda system of yoga.
