Sannyasin Atmabhava (Eva Karaitidi) SYCA
Studied classical philology at the University of Athens in 1978, and went on to do a PH.D in Linguistics and Semiotics at the New Sorbonne University, Paris III. She is the fifth-generation owner of Hestia, the oldest publishing house in Greece (established in 1885), where she has worked since 1987, and later became the general managing director in 1998.
What attracted her to Satyananda Yoga was the calmness she felt when doing the practices. It was also the authenticity of Satyananda Yoga that drew her to the tradition.
In 2010 she completed her teacher training course at Satyanandashram Hellas, Paiania. “I got so much from Satyananda Yoga that I too wanted to share this experience with others, and so I became an instructor”. She has deepened her knowledge in hatha yoga, Yoga Nidra of the Satyananda System of Yoga, and yoga for children and adolescents.
She teaches hatha yoga at the Satyananda Yoga Meditation Center in Athens and is a member of the committee of the Satyananda Yoga Meditation Center in Paiania.
She was initiated into Karma Sannyasa by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati in, 2007.
