The SWAN technique is a yogic psychology tool of self-awareness which was developed by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati. It allows us to develop an awareness of our strengths, weaknesses, ambitions and needs, and in so doing, enables us get to better understand our true needs, and know ourselves better as we bring greater creativity and joy into our lives as we uncover hidden strengths and put them into practice, while at the same time overcoming weaknesses and limitations that were holding us back and preventing us from achieving our aims.
Through working with SWAN, we cultivate a realistic understanding of where we are at ,and what we are capable of.
SWAN is a tool for life and a 24-hour sadhana as our strengths, weaknesses, ambitions and needs change us over time.
