Being able to connect with positivity is one of the greatest needs of the current time and its acquisition is a great spiritual achievement. A person with a positive mind can express their potential with greater comfort, create a harmonious internal and external environment, and express themselves comfortably and spontaneously without aggression but rather, with understanding and compassion.
Separating the negative from the positive and selecting and holding onto the positive is the purpose of yoga. It is that purpose which has to be fulfilled in life.[.....]
The lesson is to bring out the positivity. That positivity has to be expressed in every situation whether it is an exam, a human relationship, social living or reclusive living. This is the understanding that yoga tries to give. It cannot be an intellectual understanding. It has to be an experiential understanding of the process which leads to development of the self, and this infuses one with contentment, peace and tranquility.

The Review of the Day is a practice tailored to the needs of modern man who has limited time for personal development. Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati created and systematized the Review of the Day so that one can relive the day ‘s activities at the end of the day in a more positive way by cultivating and developing a yogic attitude with oneself and others.
There is a process to know the intricacies of our intellect. When you go to bed at night, just think of one thing: what did you do during the day, from the time you woke up till this moment. See yourself as if you were looking at a third person. Relive every moment of the day, visualise the whole day like a movie. Now try to see if there is a mistake in your actions, behavior or attitude. Don t feel guilty about anything, just recognise your reactions. Whether you are angry, depressed or happy, it does not matter. Recognise the state, and ask: If i face a similar situation again, how will i react? How would i react in a more controlled, balanced and harmonius way?" Make a positive resolve: "If i face a similar situation, i will be more balanced. "Then go to sleep. Within a month you will find that your responses to situations and conditions have changed drastically.
